The purpose of this event is to promote literacy development and literacy experiences between children and their families and/or primary caregivers. Be creative and include the following in your one-page invitation:

2. Place
3. Purpose

Create a 10-15 slide PowerPoint presentation for the Family Literacy Night. Be creative and include the following:

1. Define literacy and the role of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
2. Provide at least three literacy development activities for families to perform at home.
3. In addition, create a title slide, reference slides, and slide notes that offers detailed explanation of your activities.
