Review the list of areas of international policing found on the INTERPOL website at http://www.interpol.int/Crime-areas. Select one of the 16 crime areas listed in the middle of the page. In an essay of 1,000-1,250 words, address the following:

1. The area of criminal activity
2. Its negative impact on a global society
3. The methods used to combat and deter this criminal activity
4. Any notable statistical data on its successes or failures
5. Collaborative support, if any from NGOs
6. Pay particular attention to how the agency’s work has become more complex in an age of greatly facilitated international communications.
